Blood Orange Oatmeal




Blood Orange Oatmeal

3/4 cup thick rolled oats
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup water
juice of one blood orange
1 Tbs. coconut oil
1 Tbs. raw honey
1/4 tsp. vanilla salt
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tbs. finely chopped hazelnuts

 

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. 

 

Stir and allow to sit for about 10 minutes. 
Turn to medium-high heat. 
Stir and allow the oats to absorb the liquids.
 Cook, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes. This stuff is THICK, so don’t let it stick!

 

Serve with fresh blood orange slices, a drizzle of coconut milk, and additional hazelnuts.
