Simple Cinnamon Rolls

Dough is one of those things that is incredibly versatile in the kitchen.

Pie dough, bread dough, pizza dough…it can all be transformed into a plethora of delightfulness, both sweet and savory.


Did you know you can use PIZZA DOUGH for CINNAMON ROLL DOUGH? Yes, you CAN!

Really, you can do anything!

 

With my leftover pizza dough from last week, I whipped up a super simple cinnamon twist for breakfast – or dessert – or snack – or…you get the picture.

 

Simple Cinnamon Rolls

1 recipe homemade pizza dough
4 Tbs. butter, room temperature
2-3 Tbs. cinnamon-sugar mix
3 Tbs. chopped pecans

 

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Roll out the super easy pizza dough, slather with soft butter, cinnamon, sugar, and some chopped nuts, roll up into a long cylinder, and then twist and roll into your favorite cinnamon dough shape.


Drizzle with a little extra melted butter and sugar and you’re good to go.

20 minutes in the oven and you’re in any time sweet heaven!
