Dark Chocolate Cherry Berry Pie

Crust:
8 Tbs. ice-cold butter, cubed into 1/2″ squares
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 large egg
1 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
1 pinch salt
2-3 Tbs. ice cold water

Combine all the crust ingredients in the basin of a food processor. Pulse until beady and crumbly.

Transfer to flour-dusted parchment and form into a ball or disc.

Then, with a flour-dusted rolling pin, roll out into a large pie crust.

Transfer to a pie plate, trimming the edges and then fluting the sides, reserving any excess dough.

Twist and turn the excess dough pieces to form decorate ropes across the top of the pie, once it has been filled.

Filling:
1 lb. Bing cherries, pitted
1 cup strawberry jam
12 oz. dark chocolate chips

Toss together all the filling ingredients, making sure the cherries are fully covered in jam.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Fill the crust with the dark chocolate cherry berry filling. Decorate the top with extra dough pieces, as desired.

Bake for about 45 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.

Allow to cool and set before slicing.
