Savory Strawberry Salsa

3/4 lb. fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
2 Tbs. Preserved Lemons, rinsed and sliced
1/2 cup Castlevetrano olives, pitted and sliced
1/2 cup Marcona almonds
1 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbs. fresh basil, thinly sliced
sea salt and freshly ground pepper

 

Toss all ingredients together and allow the flavors to meld for 30-60 minutes before serving over pasta, on freshly baked bread, or over grilled meat and fish – really, eat this baby with anything!
