Peppered Steak Sous Vide & Mediterranean Quinoa



Today, the day I am composing this post is March 16, 2020.


I am an anxious person.


Often I can manage. Today I simply cannot.


Coronavirus. Quarantine. Pre-existing auto-immune condition.


It’s too much. I feel like I’m going to break.


I’m not allowed to go to the grocery store.


My immune system is too compromised.


My loving husband is there now, buying all he can in terms of frozen and canned goods. 

There is not much left.


What kind of a world do we live in?


What kind of fear do we live in?

I did manage to cook dinner, though.

 



Peppered Steak Sous Vide & Mediterranean Quinoa

 

I can’t comprehend composing a recipe tonight.

 

Basically, filet, lots of black and red peppercorns, salt, and garlic to rub. Cook in the sous vide.

 

Serve over rice and quinoa seasoned with salt, pepper, diced sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and basil.

 

Eat your heart out.
