Creamy Antelope Taco Salad

 Tacos at home have never been so simple, easy, or delicious! 




Really, these creamy, gluten-free, grain-free, Keto-friendly mounds of spicy delight will curb all your cravings! – And you can use any type of ground meat you like! 


The secret is in the sauce – the taco “sauce” spice blend.


Creamy Antelope Taco Salad 

1 1lb. antelope (or any lean ground meat)
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
2 Tbs. butter, melted
sea salt and pepper
3 Tbs. Taco Seasoning*
1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
bibb or butter lettuce leaves

 

Melt the butter over low heat. 

 

Add the onions and meat and cook (breaking the meat apart with the back of a spoon) until done. 

 

Stir in salt and pepper, Taco Seasoning,* and the cream cheese.

 

Whisk together until smooth and creamy.

 

Serve over lettuce leaves and topped with grated cheese.

 

*Taco Seasoning:
1 Tbs. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. dried oregano

 

Mix all the spices together until well combined.
