Jalapeño Lime Kraut Creamy Cashew Blueberry Salad




There’s a lot going on here – as you can see from the title. 

But it works. 

It really does. 

Jalapeño Lime Sauerkraut – with its tang, spice, and zest, + fresh and crunchy jicama, + fresh blueberries, and THEN, a creamy cashew dressing with crunchy cashews on top. We’ve got it all, folks!




Jalapeño Lime Kraut Creamy Cashew Blueberry Salad

You’ll be shocked at the amazing flavor combination that a spicy and tangy Jalapeño Lime Kraut provides when mixed with sweet and creamy cashews, blueberries, and crispy jicama.

1 medium jicama bulb, peeled and chopped into chunks
1 pint fresh blueberries
1 cup cashews
½ cup cashew butter
juice and zest of 1 fresh lime
sea salt
½ – ¾ cup 
Wildbrine Jalapeño Lime Sauerkraut

In a large bowl, toss together the chopped jicama root/bulb, blueberries, and cashews.


In a small bowl, whisk together the cashew butter, lime juice, and zest until liquid and viscous. 


Pour the cashew lime sauce over the jicama, blueberry, and cashew salad mixture, season with salt, and very gently mix.


Serve topped with generous portions of 
Wildbrine Jalapeño Lime Sauerkraut.
