Gluten-Free Savory Seeded Granola

It’s not always about the sweet. Sure – the sweet side is saccharine and often satisfying. But …

Sometimes our tastebuds and cravings are all about the savory side of life.

Savory GRANOLA.

Yes. Hearty seeds, healthy oats, plump raisins, a touch of honey, and plenty of Parmesan cheese, this crunchy seed cluster granola recipe is perfect for simple noshing, served with milk any time of day or night, or even sprinkled atop salads or veggies!

Enjoy.

Gluten-Free Savory Seeded Granola

2 cups gluten-free whole oats
1 cup toasted and salted pistachios
1 cup toasted and salted pepitas (green pumpkin seeds)
1 cup hazelnuts, chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
1/4 cup poppyseeds
1 cup jumbo raisins
1 tsp. sea salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
1 cup raw Manuka honey

2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Toss together the oats, seeds and nuts, raisins, and salt in a large bowl.

In a medium pan, melt the butter and honey until smooth and silky.

Drizzle over the oat-seed-nut-raisin mixture.

Mix VERY well to ensure all surfaces are coated with the butter-honey mixture.

Line two large cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Spread the seeded mixture evenly over both sheets and bake, stirring every so often, for 20-25 minutes, until fragrant and golden brown.

Remove from the oven. Cool.

Break apart into clusters and go to town!!
😋

I simply cannot help myself: ALL my favorite things – sweet, salty, crunchy, and UMAMI CHEESE!!! I’m in heaven!
