Pistachio Walnut Cherry Cardamom Rose Crostini

Are you ready to wow your guests and knock your own socks off?

Yes, we all love little finger foods and bite-sized greatness.

But these slices of heaven go above and beyond aromatic cardamom and rose, toasted and salted pistachios and walnuts, along with dried cherries atop a whipped cream cheese slathered crisp of citrus ginger and thyme – the complex flavor profile and textures will leave you and your peeps just swooning.

Remember all those holiday parties coming up? THIS is the recipe, the appetizer, the “dish” to impress.

Pistachio Walnut Cherry Cardamom Rose Crostini

1 pkg. Rustic Bakery Citrus Ginger Thyme Artisan Crisps (or any crisp crackers)
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup walnut halves, chopped
1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
1/4 cup dried cherries, chopped
Himalayan sea salt
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
1-2 tsp. dried rose petals

Heat a medium skillet to medium heat.

Dry roast the nuts with the Himalayan salt, stirring often, for about 3-5 minutes – until toasty and fragrant.

Cool.

Toss the cooled nuts together with the dried cherries and cardamom.

Slather each cracker thin with whipped cream cheese.

Next, top with the cardamom nut mixture.

Finally, sprinkle with dried rose petals.

Serve at room temperature.
